The former media assistant to Dr. Denis Mukwege, 2018 Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, Bella RaeAnne, M.A. (they/she) is a first-generation university graduate, human rights activist, and scholar of ancient history.

They earned their Master's degree in Classical Civilisations at the University of London, Birkbeck with a specialization on Cleopatra VII and serpent imagery throughout the ancient Mediterranean during her reign. Their Bachelor's degree in Classics and International Studies with two theses: one on Cleopatra VII’s representation in media and the other on Human Trafficking as a side effect of genocide and mass atrocities.

In 2017, Bella RaeAnne performed as a background vocalist on the Original Broadway Cast album and on the Tony Awards with the production of Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812.

They are a freelance artist specializing in traditional and digital art with expertise in graphite, charcoal, and Clip Studio Paint. Their most current project is a debut young adult romantasy novel. They split their time between D.C., New York City, and London.
